Passive fire protection

Special REI coatings is designed to improve the flame resistance of a load-bearing structural element. This resistance is expressed as a function of the length of time (expressed in minutes) that the element is able to retain its stability and insulation properties before reaching the collapse point.

The REI treatments are designed and prepared by special qualified personnel registered on the register according to Italian Law 818. FES Srl, assisted by an 818 qualified technician, offers two different types of REI treatment: the application of intumescent paint and fire retardant plaster.
